Detty December 2025 Checklist: IJGBs, Lagos Big Steppers x Twinwaters Edition

Flights are full, passports are stamping, and IJGBs (I Just Got Back crew) are already shouting “We’re outside!” before they even clear immigration; and the Locals are gearing up!

Detty December isn’t coming, it has officially clocked in. And If you know Lagos, you know Detty December isn’t just a month. Lagos is about to glow louder, brighter, and bolder than ever. It’s the season where every day is another chance to make that Tiktok or Insta memory that trends.  

Whatever IJGB batch you are coming with, please know that December in Lagos is not for the weak. If you blink, you’ve already missed a party, a pop-up, and maybe your flight home.

So, before the season begins, here’s how to survive and thrive this Detty December, The Lagosian and Naija style; the one that’ll keep your energy (and your account balance) intact.

1. Pick Your Base Camp (Hint: One Spot; 100% Vibes)
